ದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾಕಾರರನ್ನು ಭಾರತೀಯ ನಾಗರಿಕ ಸುರಕ್ಷಾ ಸಂಹಿತೆಯ ಸೆಕ್ಷನ್ 127 ಮತ್ತು 170 ರ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಂತಿ ಬಾಂಡ್ ಪಡೆದು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. Political organizers in Delhi were bound over on peace bonds under Sections 127 and 170 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).

ಭಾರತೀಯ ನಾಗರಿಕ ಸುರಕ್ಷಾ ಸಂಹಿತೆಯ ಸೆಕ್ಷನ್ 163ರ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಂತಿಯುತ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾಕಾರರನ್ನು ಕಾನೂನುಬಾಹಿರವಾಗಿ ಬಂಧಿಸುವಂತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದೆ. The Supreme Court ruled that peaceful protestors cannot be arbitrarily detained under Section 163 of the BNSS without notified orders.

ದೇಹಾಕಾರವನ್ನು ಲೇವಡಿ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಲೈಂಗಿಕ ಗೌರವ ಅಥವಾ ನಮ್ರತೆಗೆ ಧಕ್ಕೆ ತರುವ ಅಪರಾಧವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ತೀರ್ಪು ನೀಡಿದೆ. Karnataka High Court ruled that body shaming does not constitute the offence of outraging female modesty under IPC Section 509.
