ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವ ಅಕ್ರಮ ವಲಸಿಗರ ಪತ್ತೆಗೆ ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಸಮಿತಿ ರಚಿಸುವಂತೆ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ನೀಡಿದೆ. High Court of Karnataka directed the state government to constitute a committee to identify illegal immigrants within three months.
