ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧೀಶರ ನಿವೃತ್ತಿ ವಯಸ್ಸನ್ನು 60ರಿಂದ 62 ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ 14 ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳು ಸಮ್ಮತಿಸಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ತೃಪ್ತಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದೆ. The Supreme Court expressed satisfaction as 14 states including Karnataka agreed to raise the retirement age of district judges to 62.
