ಬೇರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸುವ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಠಾಣೆಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿ ಸಹಕಾರ ಪಡೆಯುವುದು ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವೆಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ತೀರ್ಪು ನೀಡಿದೆ. Karnataka HC ruled that outside police visiting another state must inform and coordinate with local police.
